I showed a couple of friends your page, and some of them couldn't believe that they were looking at dolls ! I really do think you have perfected the art of BJD photography. Have you thought about releasing a photobook before?
Finally, there's a new pic. But it was worth the wait, 'cause once again you've created such a wonderful athmosphere. The bright colours make you feel the innoscence of a saint. And the wig is styled perfectly.^^ But I also like the way he's looking to the ground. It makes him look more mysterious. and the little flowers are beautiful as well. It's almost like he's hiding behind them, wich makes him look even more fragile, than he already does.
This - this is so incredibly strong; naturalistic, I'd say. Especially his hands, they look quite real. I love everything in this shot, starting with the idea, through soft, subtle colours and light and beautiful composition. With that look on his face it gives me contradictory feelings; some kind of nostalgic, morbid and cold sadness - which is unsettling, it's getting to me.
Exquisite skill in everything, you never fail to amaze me.
Ah thank you so much, his expression is quite a contrast to the lightness of the photo, isn't it? You always seem to pick up on the details I try to express with my photographs, it makes me very happy and warm. Thanks always for your comments
